Tim will be clarifying the murky waters to explain the difference between brand actions and marketing activity and the shift in mindset to get it right. He will also be providing guidance on brand development, use of values in marketing, and how the balance of marketing activity shifts with the progression stages of different businesses.

Tim Rylatt is a highly experienced business coach who has worked with more than 200 companies during the past 15 years. He is also the author of 3 books that address the topics of sales skills, strategic marketing, and business growth.

Kirsti will talk you through the full range of flexible working arrangements available from flexible hours, remote/hybrid homeworking, compressed hours, job shares etc which can all be used as retention and attraction tool.

These arrangements don’t work for everyone, nor for every role. So we’ll also look at the legal requirement to offer sound business reasons for declining requests from employees for more flexibility.

Emma has a background in information systems, programme management, business development and database design.

Emma started her career 28 years ago in programme management with Thales, providing bespoke full flight simulators to both civil and military customers.

Customers include Airbus, British Airways, Indra, Oxford Aviation, and the Ministry of Defence, working on the Eurofighter project.

Later Emma worked in Business Development for a consultancy company specialising in monitoring and evaluating of Humanitarian Development projects funded by the United Nations, World Bank, DFID, European Commission, and the Asian Development Bank.

With a passion for IT, Emma founded The IT Girl Sussex in 2015 providing personalised solutions that are both effective and efficient to both small business and residential customers.

Successful businesses need to maintain a balance between virtual and face-to-face interactions whilst navigating the barriers and leveraging the enablers to foster clear, timely, and productive communications within their operations.

The Chaseley Trust is a unique, independent charity-owned, 55-bed nursing home.  They specialise in long-term nursing and respite care for people with complex disabilities, such as Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and degenerative neurological conditions such as Huntington’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone and Parkinson’s disease.

We are delighted to be able to support this charity.
