On Thursday 19th November at 9am, four business experts will be bringing together their brains to share top tips on how to adapt for success.

With the focus being on how to make change happen sustainably, and what areas to focus on to embed change within your company positively, you’ll gain interesting insights, recommendations, and guidance across the areas of business strategy, financials, HR and marketing.

Here is what’s on offer

There will be four short and punchy sessions (each one just 15 minutes long), covering a range of relevant and interesting topics to help business owners just like you.

Tim Rylatt

Director, UK Growth Coach

Tim Rylatt is the managing director of UK Growth Coach, a business coaching firm in East Sussex. He is an experienced coach; with 12 years of direct experience in helping business owners, and a history before that in training Police Officers.
He is the author of two business strategy books, runs his coaching practice and is also a shareholding director in two based marketing agencies.
Tim has worked with over 200 business owners on a 1:2:1 basis, both as part of the largest business coaching franchise, and now independently through his own practice; UK Growth Coach.
He is known for his straight talking approach and insights, and enjoys helping company owners make the leap from ‘owning their own job’ to ‘owning a business that can operate independently and profitably.

Matt Southam

Director, MJS Media

Matt Southam is Managing Director of MJS Media, a successful marketing agency based in Hastings.
Having grown the business from the ground since 2014, MJS Media now works with clients across the South East, helping them achieve their vision of success.
Matts passion is to help businesses present the best version of themselves using design, messaging and strategy.
Since March, Matt has worked with a range of clients helping them to navigate the covid landscape. He is ensuring clients deliver relevant marketing messages to help their business not just survive but flourish as we come out the other end.

Serena May

Director, HR Dept Eastbourne

Serena May is the Director of the HR Dept Eastbourne, providing outsourced HR and Employment Law support to SME’s.
Serena has a Master’s Degree in Personnel and Development, is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development and has over 15 years generalist HR experience advising on people management issues and problems.
She has covered all aspects of HR including recruitment and selection, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, redundancy, restructuring, mergers, TUPE, settlement agreements and policy writing.
Prior to her career in HR, Serena worked in Financial Services. She is commercially astute, has experience of working closely with customers and their teams and is able to quickly build strong relationships with clients.

George Hiller Jones

Director, Watson Associates

I have recently joined the director team at Watson Associates, we are a firm of Chartered Accountants, auditors, business and tax advisers with over 60 highly skilled staff, all geared to provide efficient solutions to SME businesses.

I have worked in practice since leaving school in 2011, I initially trained with a 4 partner firm in Brighton where I gained both my AAT and ACA qualifications. After qualifying I decided to specialise in an Accounting and Business Advisory role for RSM, a top 10 firm.

I recently decided to return to general practice with Watsons and to embark on a career where I can work closely with my clients to help them achieve success and growth.

At the end of the presentations, there will be a short opportunity for any direct questions to be asked of the speakers. The webinar will be finished by 10:30am.
