Tim Rylatt is a highly experienced business coach who has worked with more than 200 companies during the past 15 years. He is also the author of 3 books that address the topics of sales skills, strategic marketing, and business growth.

Unlike many coaches, Tim is also a business owner himself, as a director in two marketing agencies, as well as his own coaching firm (which is now also a franchise).

Henry’s presentation will teach business owners how opportunity is so often lost to the competition and how to change it to skyrocket results. He will also show which marketing strategies should be prioritised and how they can fuel business growth when done correctly. Henry’s presentation will cover:

Henry is a highly experienced business owner and has been heading up businesses within the print, design and digital marketing sector for nearly 25 years.

He is known for being entertaining, direct, and creative, with a huge passion for results-driven marketing.

In 2018, the marketing agency he founded with co-director Tim Rylatt won the ‘Best New Business award for the Gatwick Diamond Area and most recently the award for Most Impactful SME Marketing Agency – South East 2023. 

During this time he has worked with hundreds of companies to help refine their brand presentation, lead generation, customer lifetime values and reputations. He has also co-authored two books on the subjects of marketing and business growth with Tim Rylatt.

Tony Baulch, Ashdown Solutions – Managed IT

Tony’s presentation will cover how business technology can help accelerate your business’s growth in a way that is sustainable and efficient.

By harnessing automation to speed up repetitive tasks, making the most out of the tools and systems that you already have, and ensuring proper cybersecurity practices are in place, businesses can streamline operations, boost productivity, and mitigate risks. Tony will also be looking at:

Tony has a wealth of IT experience, starting out at British Caledonian, before working for BT and then supporting projects such as the Dartford River Crossing  and Faslane submarine shiplift. He spent 12 years in a senior role supporting retail operations of some 400 Texaco petrol stations.

With a young family, and not wanting to travel into London, he started Ashdown Solutions to look to bring his years of automation and project management skills to serve SME’s based in the Gatwick Diamond.

Myth-busting tax and accountancy tips

Chris Irving, Curve Accountancy

In his upbeat and energetic presentation, Chris will provide valuable insights into what current scams to look out for in the tax and accountancy world.

He will provide real-world examples that could save you from losing thousands to these scams and clear up some common myths!

In addition, Chris will also provide an easy-to-understand tax update starting with the exciting points from the recent March Budget as well as other previously announced legislation that could impact you or your business.

Chris Irving is a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and has been working in the accountancy industry since he left school in 1990. He is a director of Curve Accountancy based in Crawley that specialise in owner-managed business accounts, tax and payroll.

Chris has presented several tax and accountancy seminars to individuals and business owners over the last 6 years and his engaging, straight-talking style will leave you with a better understanding of the tax legislation that directly impacts you.

Bernie’s presentation will look into the crucial role of effective communication in business success during growth.  He will cover:

Bernie’s knowledge, and his passion for outstanding personal customer service has seen him become a valued advisor to hundreds of SMB and SOHO businesses in the 15 years since RGC was founded. He is currently working hard to help customers navigate the challenges that will come with the 2025 switch-off of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).

The Chaseley Trust is a unique, independent charity-owned, 55-bed nursing home.  They specialise in long-term nursing and respite care for people with complex disabilities, such as Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and degenerative neurological conditions such as Huntington’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone and Parkinson’s disease.
